National M. K. Čiurlionis Art Museum celebrating the 90th anniversary opened one of the largest in its history exhibition “Mirábile Visu / Miracle to see”.
Visitors can meet the most valuable collections and exhibits in nine halls of the gallery.

The exhibition presents more than a thousand pieces of art, which reflect different decades of the museum’s life. Not only the museum, but also the Lithuanian State history is revealed through them.

The exhibition reveals the first, but firm steps of the establishment in the interwar Lithuania, the fate of heritage during the first Soviet occupation and war, brave and responsible work in preservation of the national virtues in the post-war period and stagnation, long years of Soviet rule, pierced by mass propaganda and control over culture, art and artists, the recent two decades of independence, full of new possibilities and signs of global collaboration.
